When Councillors can’t win, what chance do “ordinary victims” have?

Councillor Kevin Edwards supports the “Justice for Linda Lewis Campaign” in a most admirable way.

What is not so admirable is how “the establishment”, i.e. the people in positions of power act, as he points out.

Maurice has experienced and uncovered the wrong-doings of the NHS, judges, court staff, solicitors and police.

Kevin Edwards finds the same cover-ups in the NHS and the Welsh Assembly.

If, ultimately, our dishonest money system breeds dishonest people who are paid to do their job but do it badly and dishonestly, then what can we, the people, and we, the victims, do?

So far, everybody fights their own case, but gets help from ‘victims turned starfighters’.

Lord Sudeley suggested to group cases with a view to changing the law. But ‘veteran victims’ feel that compliance with the Rule of Law is all that’s needed. However, we can only change ourselves. We cannot change anybody else.

Victims Unite brings together isolated cases and stories. Next, we’ll produce more WANTED posters on a gallery where people can attach their own story. It seems that ‘naming and shaming’ is the first step to Private Prosecutions as the next one.

At least we’ll die with a good conscience. The perpetrators not.
